screaming. A couple of reverse curves at full throttle, the screaming continues.

A while later the screaming begins to mix with laughter, and after a pretty good run time, the event is over. Ms. Calegari stopped
screaming. It was reported she asked “Is that all there is?”.

I’m not sure, but I think that may have been the last time the ExCom went to Malibu Grand Prix.
        From Crissy Willson _

In 1999 I was just a few years out of college with very little experience. After interviewing, Dorothy took a chance and hired me. I am
more grateful than words can express.

The definition of a mentor is an experienced and trusted adviser. In my opinion, the most important trait of a mentor is the ability to
recognize potential. One of the greatest lessons I learned from Dorothy is that, while not every position fits every volunteer, there is
a role for anyone who is willing to dedicate their time and talents to the association. Dorothy is a master at finding the right place/
position for the right person and then helping to guide them to success.

In addition to guiding countless association volunteers, leaders, and members, she has also been my mentor. She has generously spent
countless hours sharing her knowledge and expertise, teaching me the nuances of association management. I have tried to absorb
every lesson, learn from her great example, and do my best to uphold the AMS standard and reputation she has worked so hard to
        achieve.

Dorothy, being under your wing has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. Thank you for your mentorship, support, and
        encouragement.
