As many of you know, members of NALS joined forces to encour-
age our State Board of Registration to keep the state-specific
exam as part of licensure as a Professional Land Surveyor in
Nevada. Members wrote letters and attended meetings and
workshops voicing opposition to removing the exam from the
licensure process for Land Surveyors in Nevada. Our collective,
unified voice was heard, and the board rescinded the recom-
mendation to remove the exam in their final report to Governor
Lombardo. Thank you to the officers, members, and surveyors in
Nevada for your support on this important issue.
