        Update

        Our May membership meeting was a luncheon on Thursday,
        May 19 at Lawry’s The Prime Rib, our guest speakers presented
              th
        about NDOT’s Tropicana/I15 project that has since kicked off.
        We did not have a scheduled membership meeting for June or
        July as we try to focus on events such as Aviators Night and
        the Railroad Grant Seminar. Our August Membership meeting
        was cancelled due to a scheduling conflict. Our September
        Membership Meeting will be the evening of September 15th. It
        will be our Annual Agency Surveyors Meeting. Guest speakers
        will be Alan Riekki – City of Las Vegas, Dustin Crowther – Clark
        County, Gary Hancock – North Las Vegas, and Michael Kidd
        – City of Henderson. In place or our membership meeting in
        October will be a Seminar and Golf Tournament in Mesquite.
        The Seminar will be on Friday the 21  followed by a Pool

        Party and Saturday morning will be the Golf Tournament at
        Casablanca Golf Club.

        On Saturday, June 25 , SNALS hosted a get together at the   year’s golf tournament to the company or individual member

        Las  Vegas  Ballpark  to  enjoy  some  minor  league  baseball.   who submits the most GPS on Bench Marks observations to

        Our July 9  Railroad Grant Seminar by Duane Price- was
                  th
        postponed to August 6th. Duane gave an in depth look at how
        and why the railroads acquired their land and what evidence
        of prior railroads could look like on the ground. We attempted
        to record the seminar for those who could not make it, but we
        had audio issues. Duane told me that he is willing to present
        this seminar again in the future, so keep an eye out.
