Adding a touch of legacy to
the celebration, NALS buried
a time capsule encapsulat-
ing their 50th-anniversary
memorabilia. From challenge
coins to poker chips and a
deck of cards from renowned
Nevada casinos, the time
capsule symbolizes not only
the present but also a link to
the past and a vision for the
future.

generic $25 Poke Chip, Deck of Cards from South Point Casino, a
mini bottle of Captain Morgan Run. All of the above listed items
were then placed inside a Purple Crown Royal bottle Bag and
then stuffed in the tumbler.

graphic center. The cache,
marked with distinctive
NALS stickers, contains
exclusive NALS Challenge
Coins, a sign-in book to
immortalize your journey,
and mini flashlights for
those who dare to explore
after dark.
Join the ranks of explorers
who have ventured to the
very heart of Nevada, and make your mark on this geocach-
ing experience. The cache invites you to take a piece of NALS’s
legacy with you and leave a piece of your own as you become
a part of the rich tapestry of stories woven into the geographic
center of the Silver State. Happy caching!
Conclusion:
The determination and establishment of Nevada’s geographic
center represents a remarkable achievement for the Nevada
Association of Land Surveyors members. This project not
only reflects the organization’s commitment to precision and
