Legislative Committee Chair Robert Carrington reported track-
ing approximately 20 bills. In addition, Robert has worked with
Jon Wooten to draft legislation to address the 2022 datum. Final
language will be forwarded to the Board for review. Once ap-
proved by the Board we will begin reaching out to stakeholders
and seeking a sponsor for the bill.
Action Item: Review the NV BPELS proposed amendments and
send final feedback by November 10th

CHAPTER REPORTS
Both the Lahontan and Southern Nevada Chapters have meet-
ings scheduled. Details are posted on the NALS website calendar

NEVADA LAW BOOK
Crissy reported that Kris Kline recently worked with LSAW to
update their common law book. The Board discussed the pos-
sibility of publishing a Nevada common law book as a benefit to
the membership.
