By: Robert Carrington, PLS , NALS President

As my 2022 NALS Presidency comes to an end, I want to give a
special “Thank You” to our State and Chapter Boards who have
volunteered the time and energy to making this a successful
year. I also want to give a special thank you to Crissy Wilson, our
Executive Director who managed to keep us on track all year.
As I reflect on the year, I can only reminisce back to 1991 when
I volunteered to be on my first SNALS committee. Through the
years, I have been guided and mentored by those members who
demonstrated poise and professionalism. I am not going to name The Challenges Ahead for Education.

                                                                              Email: nals@NvLandSurveyors.org

that included Surveyors from Nevada (NALS), California (CLSA),
Arizona (APLS), Utah (UCLS) and the Western Federation of
Professional Land Surveyors (WestFed). As I write this report,
the NALS Executive Board is finalizing Memorandum of Letter to the Editor
Understanding with CLSA for the 2023 Conference to be held in
Reno, which will be NALS 50 Anniversary.
