As I write this message, I must reflect on the effort of the
Land Surveying Association Boards of Arizona, California,
Nevada, Utah and WestFed for their efforts in putting on
the 2022 Survey Conference held in Las Vegas at the Luxor
Hotel on Wednesday March 30 to Saturday, April 2 . We had

over 900 attendees including our Vendors from 34 States.
The conference program offered 22 hours of Continuing
Education Units, with topics such as, Eminent Domain, Ethics,
Business Practices, Property Boundaries, Easements, and
ended with a Mock Trial of Boundary Law. The conference
speakers included Kris Kline, PLS, Steve Hiner, PE and Jeff
Lucas, Esq., PLS. The Wednesday-Friday Luncheons, were
sponsored by KEIR+WRIGHT, California Surveying & Drafting
Supply and SAM. Our Gold Sponsor this year was Aerotas.
The conference committee would like to extend a special
“Thank You” to all of our Sponsors.
During the Friday luncheon, Awards were given out to
